About the Gaylactic Spectrum Awards

The Gaylactic Spectrum Awards are an important vehicle for gay fans of science fiction, fantasy and horror to recognize and influence the genre. But they're also an expensive undertaking. Even with simply awarding a statuette to the winners, the Gaylactic Spectrum Awards can only continue to exist through donations. With the establishment of the Gaylactic Spectrum Awards as an independent organization, we can now offer another way for individuals to support the Awards - becoming a member of the Gaylactic Spectrum Awards Foundation.
Foundation membership is inexpensive - $10 for an Award year - and provides the following benefits:
- Your nominations help determine the winner of a special popular choice award
- You'll receive complete listings of all nominees before they're available on our website
- Recognition at our annual Awards ceremony
- and more benefits as we can make them available
